Hi! My name is Maya, and I'm a freelance artist from North Carolina. The following page is dedicated to my terms of service, commission prices and samples! Nowadays, I love painting landscapes, foliage, cute characters and fashionable outfits. TERMS OF SERVICE
By commissioning me, you agree to all of the below conditions. I encourage you to read through this page thoroughly before placing an order. As well, I will work under the assumption that you have reviewed my TOS.If at ANY point I find that my terms have been violated, I maintain the right to cancel the commission without a refund.

Things to know...
I reserve the right to reject a commission for any reason.
All digital art will be transferred via email, to ensure as little compression as possible.
If you are purchasing a physical product such as a traditional gouache painting or cross-stitch piece, shipping prices may fluctuate depending on your location. Artworks will be packaged safely and shipped at my earliest convenience.
Due to my art process, thumbnails and sketches may look somewhat strange or rough. Please keep this in mind!
Payment and Process
All payment must be done in full, up front.
I use PayPal only! Before I start the commission and when I'm ready to take payment, I'll send you an invoice.
After I receive payment, I can begin the drafting process! You may ask for progress pictures at any time and I will provide them as soon as I can.
My turnaround time is indeterminate due to my work schedule. Depending on the piece, it will usually take around 1-2 weeks. Commissions will never take longer than two months.
I will never use the name or information given for payment outside of the transaction, nor will I bring it up unless it is necessary due to processing issues.
Refunds and Revisions
Refunds will only be issued if a commission takes longer than two months without a given reason, or if I am unable to complete the piece altogether.
Customers will receive a 100% refund if there was no work done, and a 50% refund if the coloring/rendering process was started but left unfinished.
You may not request a refund for fully finished pieces. At that point, you no longer have a right to compensation.
Pieces may be revised at any time, for any reason. Please understand that due to my painting process, large revisions may be difficult.
If I have already begun rendering a piece, you may not request that I start over.
I will not make any more revisions 24 hours after the final piece is delivered.
You may not file a chargeback against me after I have finished the piece.
Copyright
All finished pieces will be watermarked or otherwise signed. My signature may not be removed under any circumstances.
I reserve the right to share the finished piece on social media at any point, for any reason.
I will never sell a finished piece to anyone else. This means the artwork will never be printed, redistributed or recycled in any way.

Share or post my artwork with proper credit.
Make prints, keychains or other products of my artwork for personal use.
Use the finished artwork in profile pictures, banners, as references or any other non-monetary, digital use.
Use the finished piece as reference or for a study,
You may not...
Redistribute my artwork for commercial use.
Mint my art as an NFT, or use it to train generative AI.
Color in or alter my sketches yourself.
Claim the artwork as your own.
PRICES
All of the below prices are for fully colored, rendered pieces. I do not offer sketches or lineart as an option for my illustrations. I am able to render in grayscale, but this will not effect the price.There is a 50% surcharge for each additional character in the illustration.If I am drawing for you without proper reference of your character, such as an image or thorough description, there may be a 20% design fee.

Traditional Painting
All traditional pieces must be discussed and quoted prior to payment. Prices may vary depending on the size of the artwork, complexity and required materials. All gouache paintings start at a $100 minimum.Note: Shipping fees will be included in the quoted price if you request that I mail you the finished artwork.
Custom Cross-Stitch
Pattern Only: $15Pattern and Hand-Stitched Artwork: $80My patterns generally use a similar base which I've made myself. Please note that some of the characters depicted in the below images are not mine. A good amount of it is gift art done for friends, or fanart. I'm more than happy to direct you to the designers if asked!
